• Short Summary

Wonderful '60s fashions with bells on are modelled in the grounds of Woburn Abbey.

  • Description

    Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire.

Various shots show the latest fashion collection from Parquerette being modelled by girls in the grounds of the abbey and stately home at Woburn. Each outfit features small bells.

A girl walks beside the lake in a stripy dress and matching coat that has a bell sewn to the hem; at least people can hear her coming. Two models wear evening gowns on the lawn before the house; one girl wears a bell and a piece of tinsel as a bracelet. A girl with long dark hair in plaits (with bells on the ends) wears a long pink dress with an organdie apron; she wriggles her golden shoe to make the bell on it tinkle.

The same girl appears in a fabulous dress with pop art flowers on it and a kind of matching cape strapped to her arms. By a rhododendron bush a model wears a divine bubblegum-pink dress with ostrich feather trim at the neck and sleeves; a bell hangs from her ear and another nestles in her hair. The dark plaits girl wears a mini dress and matching headscarf in Gaugin colours; she throws some leaves into the air and sniffs a rhododendron.
