    Holland (Netherlands).

    TV. Dutch Harbour where launching of a huge ship is to take place. Camera pans to the 2350 ton ship "Baltisborg" coming into view on left of screen. GV. The new ship on the launching site, canvas covering the name. CU. Two onlookers. Front view, bows of the ship towards camera. SV. Woman swings bottle of champagne to launch ship. The bottle smashes on the side of the ship. TV. Ship begins to slide away towards water. Canvas moves to reveal the name of the ship. GV. Ship goes off launching ramp into water and sways. GV. Wave created by ship hits the quayside making onlookers run for cover. GV. People begin to go back to quayside as the water subsides. SV. Onlookers. TV. Camera pans to length of the ship as it floats in the harbour.
