    A Green line bus moves slowly along. A man digs grit from a roadside container and throws it under the wheels of the bus so it can get a grip. A lorry comes along, sprinkling grit on the road. A woman and a dog walk along the side of the road through thick snow.

    The wording on the garage at 00:01 tells us that the opening scene is in Oxted, Surrey.

    In centre picture at 00:01, the policeman talks to the driver of a Vauxhall Victor FD Estate.

    "A coach with steam rising" - it's a Bedford SB Plaxton Embassy.

    "Small van goes by" - it's a Renault 4 van.

    "A Green line bus" - it's an AEC Regal IV.
