Brooklands, 27th September 1921.
A 2-litre single-seater AC Six was used to break S.F. Edge's 24 Hour record. The RAC allowed the drivers, Brownsort & Noble, to use a "Double Twelve" format, with the car locked in "parc ferme" overnight (use of Brooklands at night was banned following complaints from the locals).
