    Various shots of annual football game involving entire town. There are few rules. Crowds of men and boys fight for the ball - even wading in rivers and streams. Town is divided into to two teams - those who were built north of river and those born to the south.

    L/S of ball being thrown into crowd from battlements of Alnwick Castle. Various shots of similarly anarchic football match. An annual tradition, the large crowds of men fight to score goals. Goals are decorated with greenery and are situated nearly a mile apart.
