Ship bound for Glasgow, aground on Gantocks, reef off Dunoon in Clyde Estuary. This is the site of many groundings over the years and is clearly marked in charts and has a warning light. It was unloaded into several puffers, small coastal vessels once common on the West coast of Scotland.
