Nice exercise sequence - demonstrated by the very supple Olivette.
Olivette doing exercises devised by Harold Dearden "the well-known Psychologist and Author".
Stretching exercises consisting of picking up, putting down and ringing a small bell - very, very cute! Introductory intertitle reads: "Continuing our efforts to get that "slim-girl feeling" today we make an attack on the muscles of the back and side - but don't forget, less haste, less waist." One of the exercises necessitates Olivette putting her hand between her legs as she crouches to ring the bell - it is rather comical. As Olivette performs another exercise lying on the floor and swinging her legs over to ring the bell an intertitle reminds us: "A roll on the floor is worth two on the hips".
Another intertitle card reads "All Eve's desiring to stay supple, try this exercise. It will help you acquire both grace and a willowy back".
Was originally an item in Eve's Film Review issue number 339 or 340.
Safety print only. Probably to be found on the "A Thing of Beauty" roll.
Note: Olivette was a famous exhibition dancer. She features in other EP films.
