    Currently dated 1940-49, the activity filmed here took place in July 1945.

    "Australian soldiers" - the soldiers are members of the 7th Division of the Australian Imperial Force.

    "Major General Milford" is Major General Edward Milford.

    "General Macarthur" is General Douglas Macarthur.

    "Moorhead" in text and tags should read Leslie Morshead.

    Quite why "Bermuda" is mentioned in the shots list is a mystery!
