Native wedding during coronation period. Nice footage of the bride and groom and their guests. White man invited to the wedding pins brooches on the bride and groom which appear to have a picture of Queen Elizabeth II upon them. They don't look too happy about it. Colonialism at its best! Bride looks very young. Nice footage of celebration dancing. Pan across from a drum being played to show a picture of Queen Elizabeth. C/Us of the bride and groom looking happy. C/Us of their brooches. The groom leads his wife into a hut which is decorated with Union Jack bunting. The wedding guests dance. Pretty wild looking dancing - some of the dancers blow whistles and some of the women have babies strapped to their backs. Part of the dance is an interesting "cheek to cheek" partners dancing. Various shots of the men drumming with the picture of the Queen propped up between them. Good low angle shots of some of the dancers.
Note: some very nice footage showing imperialism at work! Presumably this marriage is taking place on the day of the Coronation.
