    The ship was built and commissioned in Brixham at the shipyard owned by Frank Curtis and Allan Stubbings. There was money outstanding from the building costs. Allan Stubbings posted a writ on the mast to stop it leaving the port. The debt was cleared and the ship was allowed to leave as scheduled. I know this because I am married to Allan\'s daughter.
