Pudsey, West Yorkshire.
LV. Cricketer Len Hutton with his wife standing in front of their house at Pudsey. Lead-in for voice. SCU. Len Hutton speaks: "After carefully considering whether I would be fit enough to play first class cricket again, I'm afraid that I have come to the decision that it would be not quite right for me to do so. You know sometimes I might get this wretched Lumbago at very short notice and I don't feel it's quite fair on the public or to myself or to the club. I do hope however to play occasional matches in first class cricket and of course a lot of friendly matches where it doesn't matter a great deal if I make nought or one Hundred."
