    LS. Long procession headed by State Trumpeters entering the Guildhall library - town dignitaries, army chiefs, guests etc. Towards the end of procession the King and Queen of Denmark are seen. LS. The Common Council members standing, applauding to Princess Elizabeth, Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh, King Frederik and Queen Ingrid of Denmark, as they pass in procession. MS. King and Queen of Denmark approaching Council Bench. MS. The Town Clerk reading the address (natural sound): "Lowson, Mayor, Common Council, Holden in the Guildhall in the City of London on Thursday the 29th day of March, 1951, resolved unanimously that on the occasion on the visit to this country in May next of their majesties the King and Queen of Denmark, and invitation be extended to them to honour the Corporation by accepting an address of welcome in a suitable box and that their majesties be asked to accept an invitation to a luncheon to be given in their honour at Guildhall". MS. Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Denys Lowson, addressing the King of Denmark. He presents the King with a casket: (natural sound): "I have very much pleasure in presenting you with this address in an open casket made from the timbers of the damaged roof of our own beloved Guildhall". GV. Lord Mayor present the box to the King of Denmark. LS. King of Denmark acknowledging applause of the Common Council. LS. Alderman and Councillors applauding. MS. King Frederik speaking (natural sound): "It is indeed a signal honour for Denmark, for the Queen and myself to be received by the Corporation of London in this ancient home of the City of London. We shall always treasure your generous welcome a one of the great and happy memories of this visit to Britain. This splendour of the City traditions and customs..." CU. Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip listening. Applause as he finishes. LS. Town Clerk asking council for vote on the resolution. "The Lord Mayor declares that the resolution has been carried unanimously." LS. Group, Lady Lowson, Princess Elizabeth and Duke of Edinburgh seated. LS. Procession leaving bench passing through applauding aldermen and councillors. MS. King Frederik and Queen Ingrid entering the car, pan to Mayor Lowson who bows as car leaves. MS. Princess Elizabeth shaking hands with Mayor Lowson, and then enters car. Prince Philip shakes hands with Mayor and enters the car.
