The Motor Show featured here took place 18-28 October 1950.

"Dashboard and steering wheel of car (Triumph 'Mayflower'?)" - yes, that's the interior of the Triumph Mayflower convertible.

    "Sports Car. ?" - that's the Jaguar XK120.

"Saloon Car.?" - that's the Nash Airflite.

"Jaguar saloon Car" - it's a Jaguar Mark VII.

"Woman sitting in saloon car" - that's the Nash Airflite again. And she's laying, not sitting!

"Austin A 40" should read Austin A40 Sports.

More footage of the event, with a commentary, can be found in clip 1492.08.

Correcting my own error above, "Nash Airflite" should read Nash Airflyte.
