LV Goon show star Harry Secombe and Hattie Jacques dressed in chefs' outfits starting to mix Christmas pudding. CU Hands mixing pudding. SV Secombe grabs hold of large spoon and bashes pudding, Secombe pours brandy into mixture, he throws in a cloth and they both mix up the pudding, Secombe takes off his tie and throws it in the mixture. CU Hattie Jacques laughing, she holds up a sovereign. SV She drops sovereign into mixture and Secombe makes a dive to try and find it. CU Hattie Jacques laughing and fooling around with Secombe, she picks his tie out of the mixture and holds it aloft, Secombe takes it and ties it round his forehead. CU Secombe with tie round his forehead, he brings up a lump of dough, puts it round his face like a moustache. SV Secombe takes bottle and tips some into his hands and dabs some behind his ears, he pours more brandy into the mixture, pan down to mess. CU Hattie Jacques stirring pudding with large spoon. CU Secombe with white sheet covering his face wearing bowler hat and glasses (Invisible man). CU Stirring of Christmas pudding. SV Secombe and Hattie stirring pudding, nat snd. from Secombe 'We'll soon get you out Jack, don't worry'. Hattie holds spoonful for Secombe to taste, he takes his hat off while Hattie is filling up large spoon with more pudding to drop into his hat. CU Large lump of pudding dropping into his straw hat, Secombe puts hat on head and pulls face. SV. 'I hereby declare this pudding well and truly launched'. he pours brandy into pudding and takes a swig from the bottle, an pulls face.
