    Various shots show 'sculptoonist' Geoffrey Davien working on a caricature model of cricketer Walter (Wally) Hammond. He starts out with a basic wire structure. Dissolve into Geoffrey adding clay. Dissolve into the finishing touches being put to the sculpture.

    We then see Geoffrey's daughter making a copy of a model head of film star Edward G Robinson made by her dad. A woman (Geoffrey's wife?) puts some shorts on a model of boxer Bruce Woodcock. Library film shows Bruce after a boxing match and in action in the ring.

    M/S of a group of model heads of well-known men - Food Minister John Strachey, writer Sir Alan (AP) Herbert, actor James Mason, and Foreign Policy Ernest Bevin are among them. Library shot of AP Herbert. Final shot shows Geoffrey twisting a new wire structure into shape.
