LS Gemini 10 on pad, zoom in. LS Gemini 10 lifts off, the camera tilts and follows the rocket for some distance. Various shots, the complex set up in the press area with news and television cameras with long lens etc. ready to film the flight.
Various shots, scenes outside the main block and a small crowd waits for the two astronauts, John Young and Michael Collins to come out. CU Cameramen. (2 shots). Young and Collins, wearing casual clothes, are applauded as they come out and shake hands with the crowd. They get into a car and are driven off to Cape Kennedy. MS The two astronauts in their space suits leave large hut and get into NASA transfer van which drives off to the gantry. Various shots, more scenes at a press site at the Cape. Various shots, scenes around the pad with Gemini 10 rocket in gantry and engineers waiting around and making last minute checks. MS Television news commentator recording a piece to camera and reporting the latest from the Cape. Various shots, the two astronauts leave transfer van and get into lift on gantry. Last preparations are then made. LS Rocket taking off. LS and MS Very slowly the gantry starts to hinge away from the rocket until its clear and ready for launching. (5 shots).
