• Short Summary

Great story showing tailors at work in the Saville row establishment of Henry Poole and Co.

  • Description

    Titles read: "SAVILLE ROW".

    London.

General views of Saville Row. A man walks into the tailor shop of Henry Poole. He walks along a corridor and looks at Royal Testimonials on the wall.

The man enters the main room and takes off his hat. He looks at some fabric on the table with an attendant. Old tailor with a tape measure around his neck and a very characterful face marks out a pattern shape and cuts cloth with scissors. Great shots of other old tailors sitting cross-legged and sewing by hand. Then we see a finished suit being folded and packed into a box.
