    Savernake ammunition disaster, near Marlborough, Wiltshire.

    M/S of Terry Ashwood, Pathe cameraman and director, climbing into cockpit of aeroplane. Various shots of damaged rail trucks. Title superimposed over top: "Savernake". Crates of spilt ammunition lie on ground, mostly shells. Aerial shots of scene of the disaster showing surrounding countryside. Where the explosion occurred is a huge hole and the ground is badly scarred. According to narrator 6 Pioneer Corps men lost their lives.
