M/S of a crowd gathered around a ribbon stretching across a road, a moustachioed man (Colonel Ashley) steps forward to cut it.

    M/S of the Colonel and his fur draped wife walking under an arch to be the first to stroll down the new sea wall, a crowd of dignitaries follow him. Low angled shot of the feet of the crowd walking along the sea wall.

    Panning shot of the beach and the sea front, workmen try to repair the damage done to the old sea wall. M/S of a large wave crashing over the dilapidated wall and onto the promenade.
