    M/S as soldiers of the cast arrive at the Stoll Theatre. C/U poster advertising "Salute the Soldier" show. Standing by the poster is Bob Danvers-Walker, in uniform. M/S entering the stage door. M/S of Vi Lesley, formerly an actress, making up Vera Bailey from Yugoslavia. M/S four Scotsmen playing cards. Various shots of scene shifting with military precision, two tap dancers practise. M/S of a comedian, he tells a few jokes then sings "Bless 'em All". Afterwards a man and woman in period dress give us "Goodbye Dolly Grey". Then the full chorus and massed band perform "Land of the Free".
