    Opening title reads: "M. Maisky says Thank You when receiving cheque for £53,043 from Mr A.G. Allen, chairman of Associated British Cinemas."

    Mr Allen makes a speech about the admiration of audiences at ABC cinemas for the bravery of the Red Army and the gallant people of Stalingrad. The money is to be spent on the reconstruction of Stalingrad. C/U of the cheque.

    The two men shake hands and Ivan Maisky makes a speech (difficult to hear due to problem on soundtrack). He ends with the words, "We shall march forward to a common victory."

    Maisky was Russian Ambassador in London.
