    Safety First Trailer.

Somewhere in England - probably London.

Various shots of children playing on the pavement beside some houses. One little boy runs out into the road. Fast editing shows shock on the boy's face as he puts his hands out, a car coming closer and horror on the faces of several women. The boy is attended to by ambulance workers as commentator says at least 4 children are killed and 80 seriously injured on the roads of Britain each year.

Shot of children playing on the pavement and suddenly dashing into the street. A gang of boys roller-skate up a street. Boys play cricket in a school playground. Great shots of children playing in a park playground on swings, seesaws and so on. Children play around a van then clear out the way as it tries to move off. A man jaywalks across a street with a young girl - they are nearly run over.

A woman walks along a suburban street with three young children. They stop at the kerb and look both ways before walking across a special crossing slowly and carefully. The woman deposits the children at a school gate and they wave goodbye to her.
