    Somewhere in Southern England.

Various shots show King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother) and Queen Mary watching manoeuvres by the Guard Regiments in the Southern Command. This is the first wartime appearance of Queen Mary with the King and Queen.

Tanks make their way across a field (Salisbury Plain?) in a formation display. Airborne troops prepare to board plane. After a smokescreen is laid by Blenheims, the paratroops descend from Whitley bombers.
