The King and Queen visit Glasgow, and are welcomed by crowds

The royal couple are seen being driven slowly along in an open backed limousine. The street is lined on both sides by soldiers holding rifles, with crowds waiting patiently behind them. They draw up to a canopied entrance and are met by two officials, one wearing full length ermine robes. L/S from below of the couple on a balcony, waving to the crowd. The building is decorated with garlands of flowers. The crowds wave flags. Finally the couple leave in a limousine waved off the huge crowd lining the streets.
