    General views around Fijian capital Suva. Various shots of people completing decorations before the arrival of Royal Visitors. In Tamavoa (sp?) a Chieftain's wife has her hair brushed. Groups of people leave their villages to head for Suva. Man plays traditional Fijian drum.

    The Royal Yacht 'Britannia' sails into Harbour. Children swim out to the ship. Army guns fire salute from shore. Launch arrives from 'Britannia'. Governor Sir Kenneth Maddox and Lady Maddox greet Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh as they step ashore. A small girl presents a bouquet. Queen inspects guard of honour.

    Travel shots along streets crowded with well wishers. Children wave Union Jack British flags. Queen and Prince Philip arrive in open car. Fijian warriors perform their traditional spear dance.

    VS shots of exotic flowers in the gardens of Government House. Queen and Prince watch a variety of traditional welcoming ceremonies. Various mats and flowers are presented. Carva - a traditional drink made from roots is prepared and then drunk by the Queen and Duke.

    Queen and Duke are driven away in open car. They wave at crowds. The Suva choir sing a traditional song of farewell. The Royals say goodbye to the Governor and his wife before boarding their ship. The 'Britannia' sails off into the sunset. People wave them off - CU of medals on Fijian man's shirt. Sunset over the Pacific. A man punts his canoe across the waves.
