Locations could include Port Elizabeth, Worcester and Queenstown.

Shots taken from the spectator stand of crowd cheering as royal car moves slowly by. L/Ss of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother), Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II) and Princess Margaret arriving at some kind of outdoor ceremony or function, walking onto a raised platform and off again to get into their car. Schoolchildren rush down the stand to wave as they go by.

Shots of crowds in city streets watching and waiting for the royals to go by in their car.

At a village (Po-El?) lines of Africans wait for the royals to arrive. The royal car goes by, with the Queen holding up a parasol. Then we see them go back in the opposite direction - just a fleeting visit! People in the crowds wave at the cars.

The royals are seen at a kind of garden party, with throngs of people watching as they talk to some of the guests.

Africans in traditional costume dance by side of the road.

Royal Family arrive by train at Queenstown and are greeted by officials. The King in white naval uniform inspects troops. Royal motorcade drives through a town, crowds wave. Schoolchildren waving flags from spectator stand.

Procession of white people make their way to a park for the garden party.
