    MS Crowds waving as the royal car, the top of which is seen above the crowds, passes, bringing King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother), Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) and Princess Margaret Rose to attend the South Africa v England test match at Lord's Cricket Ground. MS The Royal Party alight from the car and are greeted. LS They walk onto the cricket pitch. MS and CU The King, Queen and Princesses shake hands and chat to both teams. (5 shots). LS Both teams raise their arms twice (possibly part of a "three cheers"?) and the Royal Party leave the pitch.

    Note: "Date received" on original paperwork reads: 26/06/1947.
