    Blue Hills, Australia

L/S of a motorcade of officials and cars, approaching along a road thronged with crowds. Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI) and the Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother) step from the car and are met by officials. They are seen walking along - the Duchess wearing a cloche hat and coat with fur collar. They walk up to a beauty spot, high up in a mountainous area, going up to the railings and surveying the view of the mountain ranges. The camera slowly pans round the scenery. The officials point out the landmarks. The Royals are seen chatting and relaxed.

The film was taken at Echo Point in the Blue Mountains (not the Blue Hills). The Blue Mountains begin about 40-50 km west of Sydney. Echo Point is a scenic lookout at the town of Katoomba. Part of the film shows the Three Sisters, a well-known rock formation that can be seen from Echo Point.
