I am sure I have told you this before but am not sure if it has been hoisted in. This clip records the waterborne Peace Pageant held on the Thames in the first week of August 1919 to mark both the fifth anniversary of the outbreak of WWI and its conclusion (after the reaty of Versailles I think). It was the last time that Queen Mary (II)'s shallop of 1689, which had served as the principal royal rowing barge since 1847 when anoter was retired, was used to carry George V and Queen Mary who are shown having gone up river in the procession to Chelsea and then turned back down to land at Cadogan Pier, as shown.
