    The Gaekwar of Baroda's elephants are featured in this travelogue. Various shots of the elephants splashing themselves with water. C/U of one of the elephants. He has a name written on his forehead. Man climbs on top of one of the elephants. The elephant swings his trunk around, he has a stick in it. Each time he raises the stick, the man on his back hits his trunk with another stick.

    An elephant performs a trick involving a stick - it waves it in the air. C/Us of an elephant drinking from a bottle and another being made to smoke a hookah type device through its trunk. Poor thing.

    Note: title suggests that The Empress of Britain was the ship on which this trip was undertaken - we don't see the ship.
