A model fairground ride and steam engine are demonstrated.

  • Description

Subtitle of this story is "A Study in miniature at Upton-on-Severn." (Hereford and Worcestershire) Introductory title reads: "We know of a wonderful model tractor and a Circus Roundabout that would just keep young Bill awake all night thinking about it - " High angle shot of a model tractor moving across a bridge. Looks like a steam driven model which pulls along carriages on wheels behind it.

"The set has over 350 parts - and has taken several years to build." C/U of the tractor which has the words: "Electric Galloping Horses" painted on the side. C/U of another part of the model. M/S of man placing this second part of the model onto a stand. C/U of him turning a handle. C/U of the top of the model rotating. Parts are gradually added to the model to turn it into a model of a fairground ride. There is a steam driven pipe organ as part of the model and "Fifty-six galloping horses"

We see the entire model in operation - a cat relaxes under the table. "A complete roundabout in miniature - and everything works by electricity." C/U of man switching it on. Various shots of the roundabout in operation.
