Rope twirling exhibition by Colonial Troops.

  • Description

Rope twirling exhibition by (according to Pathe) Colonial Troops- not sure which colony, they look Canadian.

Location of events unknown / unclear.

In large open area; soldier shows off with a rope as a line of other soldiers; standing by their horses. He makes a lasso; starts to spin it. MS as he ropes a woman; she steps out of it.

He does a lot of fancy twirling; passing the rope round his back; stepping inside the circle; kneeling then lying down; all while still spinning the lasso.

He twirls it vertically; and he and the woman jump through it sideways. He lassos a man riding by on a horse. Repeats performance.
