Ronald sits at a desk and yawns before starting a monologue called 'The Fairy' which revolves around him meeting an old woman in the wood and offering her some gin, she gives him a wish in return so he asks for an adoring elephant. It turns out to be very useful as an air raid shelter where he meets the vicar's daughter. One day the elephant receives a direct hit and disappears in a flash.
