Full titles read: "ROBB WILTON - in the magistrate."

L/S of the comedian and entertainer Robb Wilton walking onto screen and playing with the tuning mechanism on a gramophone on top of table, it makes several whining sounds. When the radio does finally come to life, Wilton gets frustrated when a woman's voice is heard talking about bees and so he knocks the machine to the ground. He says "who wants to hear about bees and their ways - would you believe it."

Wilton reads from a letter he picks up off the table - "Re the matter referring to the matter already referred to in reference to the one referred to. We don't know but we think so." Wilton then comments "That's lifted a weight off my mind that has !"

Wilton then talks about being a magistrate and the case he was listening to earlier that day. He says that a woman was attempting to get 'justice' for being knocked down from behind by a tram which was driven by her husband. He comments "why didn't he apply the brakes, She said that he said when he saw it was me he never thought of applying his brakes."

Wilton concludes the story by mentioning that the women could remember the date of the accident so well (23 rd July) because the same number was on the front of the tram and "it's now imprinted on her memory !"
