    GV. Exterior of the Rhodesian Parliament building with Guard of Honour lined up. Various shots of white and black Rhodesians watching the ceremony of the opening of the parliament. MS Rhodesian and Union Jack flags flying together. Various shots of Clifford Dupont, officer administering the Government, as he is inspecting the Guard of Honour made up of the Rhodesian Light Infantry. Various shots of the seated guests at the ceremony including some African Chiefs. MS. The formal procession led by the Speaker moving through the courtyard into the house. Among those seen are Prime Minister of Southern Rhodesia Ian Smith and Leader of the Opposition J. M. Gondo. The procession also includes Mr Dupont and wife. MS Pan with Mr and Mrs Dupont as they leave after the ceremony and drive away in Rolls Royce flanked by a mounted British South African Police escort. MS. As the Guard of Honour marching away preceded by band. MS. Ian Smith leaves the building to applause from watching crowd. MS. Black Rhodesians seated on green outside Parliament Buildings.
