Girl cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova and male counterpart Colonel Bykovsky walk from a plane at Moscow airport to a platform where they are embraced by Nikita Khrushchev.
At Tufton Court (in London?) we see Sir Winston Churchill arriving at his daughter Mary's residence with his wife, Clementine, who's birthday it is today. Shots of Henley Regatta in very wet weather - river bank very muddy. A girl walks between marquees in bare feet. University College rowing team beat Americans of Cornel. Shots of hovercraft SRN 2 at inauguration of Bristol Channel ferry service between Weston-Super-Mare and Penarth near Cardiff. Hovercraft moves out to sea. At Rome we see Pope John lying in state at the Vatican. The new pontiff, Archbishop of Milan, is seen in open air ceremony where he is crowned Pope Paul VI. At Westminster Cathedral we see John Carmel Heenan enthroned as Archbishop of Westminster (he looks very nice).
