Film of a locomotive repair shop.

  • Description

Repairing locomotives. Location of events unknown.

Industry. Great film of a locomotive repair shop; USA. Shot of disassembled locomotive. Pan left; large factory interior with high ceilings; more of these giant riveted items; workers walking past carrying tools; etc.; 2 men by a set of train wheels & axle. DS looking over row of more partial locomotives -- cylinders with various parts sticking out of them; a man working behind the nearest.

Zoom in and pan forward over the locomotive bodies -- this is a really cool shot CU 3 workers turning the tall set of wheels; on a pole sticking up out of the floor. Another great shot: Two workers inside a big short cylinder with a grid of circles inside; one is using a long sort of wrench. CU near-completed locomotive; with workers standing on a board next to it. The finished train engine; on a rotating bridge - used to turn locomotive from one track to another.
