    Note: footage of Hess' plane doesn't appear until the 22:00 timepoint of this 22:50 clip. It is preceded by 22 minutes of general WWII footage.

    Hess's plane, when it is seen, is a Messerschmitt Bf 110D.

    ...and that previous footage is great because of rarity of Sea Fire landing/takeoffs...along with some glimpses of Fire Fly take offs...and deck crowding before angled decks came in...really good 'stuff'...rarely seen...well, by me, that is....:)
