Religious ceremony at Sudbury, Suffolk.
The age-old ceremony of "Bringing Home Our Lady at Sundown" to the church at Sudbury. Various shots of the procession carrying banners through the streets. The Shrine, including statuette of Virgin Mary, is borne along at shoulder height. Various clergy, nuns and girls in white veils take part in procession.
Item is cuts from Gazette issue 46/67. Date on old record is 22/08/1946.
