R.A.F. Station, Henlow.
The King has approved a new style of hat for wear by airwomen of the WRAF. It will be worn for the first time in public in the parade for the presentation by the King of the King's Colours to the RAF in Hyde Park 26th May. The new hat of blocked fur with a small peak is similar in design to one selected last year by HRH the Duchess of Gloucester, Air Chief Commandant of the WRAF and a small committee.
