    Native American / Canadian Indians canoe across Lac Du Bois, they are gathering wild rice into their boat.

    A group of Indians are gathered on the shore by their canoes. Two women bag up the collected rice from the bottom of the boat. More shots of people bagging rice.

    A floating combine harvester driving by farmer Bill Williams, collects rice as it sails across part of the lake. CU driver. CU blades collecting the rice kernels.

    Sacks are weighed at the weighing room. A man gives out a chit for the amount of rice collected. Wild Rice being processed and bagged by a machine. A van carries away some of the product.
