    Various shots of wounded soldiers being brought by Red Cross truck to a hospital situated 12 feet below ground level in the desert. A wounded soldier is assisted off the lorry.

    A stretcher case is carried into the waiting room and Dr Hesselberg (? Hersellberg?) checks the head wound of the prone soldier. He is then carried into the operating theatre by orderlies. Brief shots of the dimly lit theatre and ward. Final (very scratched) shot shows C/U of the Red Cross flag blowing in the wind.
