  • Short Summary

Mr G. E. T. Eyston shows off his record breaking MG Midget on Pendine Sands.

  • Description

Full title reads: "S. Wales. 'Record days are here again!' Whilst Sir Malcolm Campbell is off to Daytona to beat his own big car record - Mr G. E. T. Eyston is at Pendine Sands to get 120 mph out of the 7 h.p. M.G. Midget..."

Next title reads: ".. and good luck to them both!" (This title card is very strangely decorated with Swastikas - may have been used in different story)

    Pendine Sands, Dyfed, South Wales.

Mr George Eyston standing next to his MG Midget. He is wearing white overalls and a driving hat and goggles.

He appears to be describing the car - sadly without the sound track we cannot tell what he is saying. C/U Mr Eyston.

Side shot of the car as Mr Eyston stands over it. The car is decorated with a Union Jack flag and an MG (Morris Garages) logo. It has the words "Magic Midget" on the side. Mr Eyston runs his hands over the sleek lines of the bonnet, he is obviously talking about the aerodynamics of the design.

Four men push start the car as it moves along the sands. The driver is in his seat. A puff of exhaust is seen as the engine starts.

The car is seen travelling at speed along the sands.
