    Various shots, engineers assembling Ranger IV. Various shots, the 12 foot Ranger IV arriving atop its boosters at the launching pad, America's tenth attempt to reach the moon. CU Boosters being fired. CU Ranger being released. CU Boosters firing as rocket takes off (no pan). Pan with rocket as it climbs. LS Water sprayed to reduce heat on ground after lift off.

    Two days later, LS and CU pan of rocket Saturn, on launch pad. CU Space authorities Professor Werner von Braun, inventor of the V-2 rocket, and Dr. Kurt Debus watching blast off. High shot, Saturn taking off (no pan). LS and MS Saturn climbs into sky.
