About 20 years ago I interviewed Mr Frank Barber (now sadly no longer with us) who was the retired Chief Draughtsman of the Gloster Railway Carriage and Wagon Company Limited. He mentioned that he had attended the Modern Railway Travel exhibition at Battersea Wharf in 1957 with a number of Gloucester built railway carriages and recalled "encouraging" some Pathe cameramen to film his vehicles by plying them with drink. If there are any out takes or stills showing the running numbers of the carriages at Battersea I might be able to work out which of them belonged to Gloucester RCW.
