    "C.U. another official" - that's Frederick Handley Page, head of the company that made the aircraft.

    The aircraft is a Handley Page HP67 Hastings, (Serial No. TG503). This aircraft has been preserved, and as of 2012 was on display at the Allied Museum in Berlin.

    On Line 8, "C.U. More officials. C.U. Shaking hands" - the older man is Mr W J Jordan, High Commissioner for New Zealand. The two aircrew he speaks to are Flt Lt Duggie Broomfield, and Squadron Leader Hedley Hazelden.
