M/S of man with a candle wandering around cellar - he says "I can smell gas". There is a cartoon explosion. Man appears with sooty face and ripped clothes.

Various diagrams of cartoonist' Joe Noble's interpretation of how the radiolocator / radar might work (narrator explains actual information is top secret).

    Various shots of comedy mad professor in mortar board and cape. He operates a Heath Robinson-style machine. There is another cartoon explosion and a bizarre sign pops up reading: "cigarettes at the pig and whistle".
