    M/S people on the beach with some sort of plough, making a furrow. The car 'Babs' is pushed out of the shed, by a team of helpers and engineers. Parry Thomas gets in and poses. The cover is taken off to show off the six cylinder engine. One man has Dunlop on his jumper. People work on a furrow in the sand.

    The driver's full name was John Godfrey Parry-Thomas.

    Parry-Thomas was later tragically killed during this record-breaking attempt, on 3 March 1927.
