Floral wreaths are carried at head of small procession of local dignitaries across field where the R-101 airship met its fateful end. A small crowd of people line the route.
Wreaths are placed at a small memorial which is draped with French tricolour and British Union Jack flags. Representatives of the RAF (Royal Air Force) place wreaths and salute.
