Deep-sea angler catches sailfish, people fish through ice and a woman sews while angling.
Titles read: 'Queer Fish'.
Various locations of events.
In the North Atlantic Sea, off the coast of the United States of America, we see various shots of a deep-sea angler on a boat, trying to catch a silver sailfish. We can see the hooked fish jumping in and out of the water some way off. The fish is eventually brought in and held up for the camera, then thrown back in. People on the boat shout congratulations. Back on land, we see a man posing with a huge sailfish and holding a fish-shaped trophy - obviously a winner in a contest.
At another location (Hungary?) we see various shots of people on a large frozen lake, bashing a hole in the ice and putting a fishing rod into the water. A woman catches a fish and a man catches a boot!
At an unidentified location somewhere in England, we see a woman angler walking along a harbour wall with her angling equipment and a sewing machine in a box. We then see her in a small boat on the water with her rod over the side. While waiting for a 'bite' she sews on her sewing machine, then brings in two fish. She holds up a large fish on shore, then sews us a man's trousers, while he is wearing them.
